Four of us were in a band and we did our high school talent show in 1977, playing along with "Detroit Rock City". Rob made the costumes and KISS sign (silver dots on black garbage bags, haha).
Fast forward 34 years and I've moved to Vegas to work with Rob. So as a dream project I had since my teens, we made a tribute band for KISS. I had to buy a set of drums and practice again for a few months to get back in the groove. It took me another 3 months to really learn our set list of like 30 songs. Again Rob made the costumes and the KISS sign (this time with real lights).
Our highest profile gig was News Years Eve party at Boulder Station Casino - Jan. 1, 2013.
