Rail Bike Coaster

Mountain Trail bike on Coaster monorail.

If you had 20 acres of land, half of it wooded, the other half a little more groomed, like a city park, you could make a beautiful, and fun, bicycle course. But this bike would be mounted on a rail, and like a bobsled run, it would have twists and turns, ups and downs, and a couple straightaways. On rare occasions you could have it as a race, but mostly would be just for fun for the general public.

This is a single-seat bicycle, locked onto a rail, mostly 3 ft off the ground, where you would be reclining to pedal. You'd hang on to arm grips, wear a helmet and have a seatbelt for safety.
This business is similar to a zipline attraction, but riding a bike instead. It's not motor powered, so it's up to the rider to go a safe speed they are comfortable with. Even better is to have an attraction with both a zip line and the rail bikes, maybe even add a climbing wall. An example is... mountain single roller coaster.

I already have ideas for an advanced version the "ground bikes" do a few loop-the-loops and some high-speed banking. Just above the ground course, up in the air, is a suspended version ... like a suspended roller coaster, but single-seat, and pedal power. You'd feel like you're flying around like a hang glider on a rail. Again, just pedal-powered.

In Disney's DCA park is a fun wooded area with lots of levels of suspended bridges. It's fun for both children and adults. redwood creek trail. I'd expand on that theme, and add a multi-level treehouse.
