Make them INDOOR models.

I would love to see an interesting museum of the BEST and most Iconic buildings and places in the world. With a little research, I've found a few parks in Europe that does this, and they are mostly outdoors. I think you would have to worry about getting dirty, wet, moldy, sun-beaten, bleached out, paint peeling, etc... On top of that, the one park is not under surveillance, and no one is watching so punks go and vandalize the sculptures. So with that in mind, I would like them to be at least sun-shaded with large canvas roofs, and security guards, or employee "guides" to make sure they dont get wrecked.

By Big Miniatures, I mean the average (round turntable) space to display would be 6 feet across, some even bigger. The Star Trek Enterprise model for example would be 6 feet long. Tallest height would be 16 feet (to fit indoors).
Make them lightweight.

These models could be made in hardwood, concrete, plaster, etc. but I would make 3D models of them all, then mill them in dense styrofoam (which is a lot like balsa wood) before detailing. The details (like the windows, railings, statues) can be 3D printed, etc.

The best part of all, in my opinion, is that you'd only have to make each model ONCE. Not like making each one, so nice and detailed and selling to a private person.

Different LARGE collections.

To get customers back many times, I would make a large collection, for example, of these icons of the world. If I created a large indoor gallery / warehouse with this collection, in one city, then in another far city, I would duplicate the business model, but make a NEW collection. Maybe 1. Movie props, and set designs , 2. Western classic old west towns , 3. Old castles of Europe , 4. Sci-fi collection of rocket ships or robots , 5. Egyptian icons and art.

After a year, you can transport the collection and swap all the models, so the locals can see an all new display.
