Little ball of fur.
We adopted a little black ball fur-producer in 2016. She was small enough to fit in one hand, and we named her Inkjet, Inky for short. She'd jump and frolic on the bed , and when you petted her she would purr purr of course. Sung to 'she's just a dance machine' , we'd say 'she's just a purr machine'. Some time in 2017, it occurred to me that there should be a Purr Machine.
I think it should be a pillow, shaped like a sleeping kitty, that had a cell phone vibrator, and sounds like a cat's purr. At that time I had a neck massager, that just vibrated, and it needed to be plugged in. So to improve on that, my Purr Machine would need a USB rechargeable battery, a switch on, that
auto-shuts off after 15 mins. It'd have 2 settings ...for loud or soft, and be covered in super soft fur.

At that time I googled 'purr pillow' and couldn't find anything. In 2024 I started making my big list of ideas. Still can't find anything on google search, so there's not a readily available product out there. Then, I thought to search for 'purr pillow US patent'. Yep. Someone got a patent in 2009 but they never found anybody to manufacture it. Maybe they need to go on to Shark Tank. (update: it's status is now ABANDONED.
Looking for pictures of sleeping cats in 2024, however I found that YES, they do make a purring cat ... in JAPAN. Rather than put a link here, which may be removed after only a few years, I copied the news article - from 2021.
